“Every person’s map of the world is as unique as their thumbprint. There are not two people alike. No two people who understand the same sentence the same way…so in dealing with people, you try not to fit them to your concept of what they should be”. – Milton Erickson

Becky developed her interest in psychotherapy via a scenic path After completing her undergraduate degree, she worked in an Emergency Department where she discovered her passion for helping others. It was then that Becky decided to make helping others a full-time career and pursued a graduate degree in counseling.

After completing her graduate degree, Becky has worked in rural and urban school systems as a school-based therapist. She also works in community mental health settings where she provides psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Becky utilizes an integrative approach to treatment, incorporating strength-based principles to a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

Outside of work Becky enjoys family time, attending nephews’ sporting events, being physically active, photography, and reading.
