To: All Clients of Franco Psychological Associates
Our Confidentiality Pledge to You

        We believe that any successful treatment begins with a trusting relationship between you, our client, and the people in our office.
        All of our staff are required by law to safeguard the information they learn about a client through the course of treatment including any personal health information.
        While we have always held to the strictest and highest standards regarding your privacy and confidentiality, a new federal law The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) offers you greater privacy protection regarding your personal health information, what information your insurance carrier can ask us to provide, and the rights that you have.

Attached is a “NOTICE” of these new regulations for your review.

We have also amended our Client Service Agreement to be consistent with the language of the new law.

If you decide to enter services at Franco Associates, we will ask you to review both forms and sign them. We will be happy to provide you with a copy if you request one.
