We welcome Brian Andrews, PhD to Franco Psychological Associates. He has provided local mental health services to adolescents, children, and their families since 2003. However, before moving to Carlisle, Dr. Andrews' clinical experience included treatment of both adults and children. We are very pleased to have him join our group practice as we continue meeting the needs of a variety of clientele.

We say goodbye to Karen Meteyer, PhD, our newest therapist at Franco Psychological Associates who has re-located with her family to New Hampshire. Though disappointed that Karen's time with us was so brief, we appreciate her fine work at FPA and wish her the very best as she settles into her new life.

Franco Psychological Associates (FPA) now offers the Relationship Check-up, a unique 3-session program that provides couples with a comprehensive assessment of their relationship strengths and weaknesses. A useful tool for improving communication skills and balance in relationships, the Relationship Check-up is based on the scientifically developed PREPARE-ENRICH curriculum for pre-marital and marital couples. This information and educational program offered at FPA will help couples understand the current state of their relationship and give them a roadmap for how to make improvements.

The couple will participate in 3 one-hour meetings with Heidi B. Roeder, MS, MFT, LPC, complete a customized on-line assessment (taken by each partner), and receive a summary report complete with helpful charts and suggestions. The fee for the entire 3-session program is $275*.

Relationship Check-up will enable couples to:
  • Explore strength and growth areas
  • Strengthen communication skills
  • Resolve conflict
  • Develop a more balanced relationship
  • Explore family of origin issues

Just like a regular visit to a physician serves to keep people healthy and catch problems to be addressed, the Relationship Check-up will provide couples with the same opportunity. To learn more about this program or to schedule an appointment, please call Franco Psychological Associates at 717-243-1896 and ask about the Relationship Check-up.

(* Note: Relationship Check-up is available to couples not currently in therapy at FPA.)
